Also known as Sea Bass, Rockcods, Cods, Hinds, Trouts, Bluespotted Rockcod, Bluespotted hind, Bommie Cod and Coral Cod. Found singly in coral rich coastal lagoons and seaward reefs. They feed on small fish and crustaceans. Maximum length 30 centimeters. Found from 1 to 50 meters.
