Black faced Blenny - Trypterigion tripteronotus - In the spotlight

Elongated, spindle-shaped body with pointed nose. Dorsal fin is divided into three sections. Grayish-brown. During the mating season males are red with black heads. Found on rocky, poorly illuminated bottoms, from 1-2 meters down to 8-10. Maximum size 8 centimeters.
