Mellieha Bay Hotel
The Mellieha Bay Hotel closed in late 2019 after 50 years of service. Once a well-known coastal destination, it now stands empty, awaiting redevelopment. By August 2023, demolition plans had been approved, but the complex remained abandoned, with broken fencing and partial beach access through the deteriorating grounds. These images preserve its final chapter before disappearance from Malta’s shoreline.
