Horse pipe-fish - Syngnathus typhle - Into the blue

Pipefish with thin, elongated, body. Has a distinctive high, compressed, nose with a straight profile, with an almost vertically cut mouth at the extremity. Color varies from brown to greenish brown. Found close to Neptune grass and zosters from 1-2 meters to 20-30 meters. Maximum size 35 centimeters.
