Bonellia viridis - The Tip

Unusual worm belonging to the Echiuridae, with unusual sexual dimorphism. The female has a sack-shaped body with a long cleft proboscis 2 meters long when fully extended. The male is very small and lives attached to the female. Greenish. The species is found on rocky or detritus substrates with crevices, at depths of 10 - 100 meters.
