Largo Magnanapoli is a compact but important junction in central Rome, positioned where the Via Nazionale axis reaches the edge of the Quirinal and the historic Monti district. From here, routes continue toward Via XXIV Maggio, the Quirinal Palace and the archaeological area around Trajan’s Markets. In this photograph, traffic circulates around the small piazza while elegant historic buildings, tall palms and monumental stone walls frame the scene. The area lies only a short distance from the Torre delle Milizie, the medieval tower associated today with the Trajan’s Markets complex.
