A partly open rock-cut area below the Mellieħa Cross, possibly once forming a sixth cave with a collapsed roof and a window-like opening.
This image shows a partly open rock-cut area below the Mellieħa Cross that may once have formed another enclosed cave space. The scattered boulders, rough floor and large opening suggest the possibility of a collapsed roof, while the rectangular opening in the remaining wall may have once allowed light into the chamber. Although no formal archaeological record confirms cave dwelling at this exact location, the surrounding cut features and modified limestone surfaces suggest past human use.
