Treetop Bridge at Skywalk Allgäu

The elevated bridge of Skywalk Allgäu leads toward a cable-supported tower high above the forest canopy near Scheidegg.

This photograph shows part of the elevated treetop walkway at Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu near Scheidegg in Bavaria, Germany. The wooden pathway, metal railings and cable-supported tower create a striking modern structure above the surrounding forest. Strong sunlight casts geometric shadows across the bridge, emphasising the height and engineering of the walkway as it passes through the treetops. The complete Skywalk route extends for approximately 540 metres and reaches heights of up to 40 metres above the forest floor.
