Nearby, the former Riviera Martinique Hotel represents a much later chapter in the area’s history, reflecting the development of tourism along Malta’s scenic northwestern coastline. Following its closure, the hotel complex gradually deteriorated, leaving abandoned structures overlooking the sea.
