The image was taken from outside Fort St. Rocco, showing the 2 large exterior water tanks of Malta Film Studios. The location of the tanks allowing for a natural horizon, given a huge advantage in making water based movies. In fact Malta Film Studios assisted in the production of over 200 films. Just to mention some of the most famos ones, Game of Thrones, Gladiator, Troy, Midnight Express, Munich, Captain Phillips, U-571 and many more.
