Large waves running into Ramla Bay and covering the Marfa jetty with sea spray during a north-easterly gale in Malta.

A strong north-easterly gale sweeps across the northern coast of Malta, pushing powerful Mediterranean waves into Ramla Bay near Marfa. Heavy seas break against the old jetty and send clouds of sea spray across the structure. The dramatic scene captures the raw energy of stormy weather as rough seas dominate the exposed coastline.
