Two-banded Seabream – Diplodus vulgaris – Under the Arch

You’ll often find the Two-banded Seabream cruising just beneath natural arches or along rocky ledges. This species has an oval, compressed body with a slightly extendable mouth, and is easily recognized by the two dark vertical bands – one by the head and one near the tail. Found in shallow to deep waters (2 to 130 meters), on rocky or sandy bottoms, and among Neptune grass. Can grow up to 45 cm.
