Wat Pa Phu Kon 01

Wat Pa Phu Kon is located in Na Yung District which is about a 120 kilometers Northwest of Udon Thani city. This temple is located high in the mountains and was just finished in 2013. The main attraction other than the great serene location is the 20+ m long reclining Buddha carved out of Italian Carrara Marble. Since the location is ideal for meditation practice, their are many buildings scattered throughout the mountain used to house meditation groups.
