Cowrie - Luria lurida - In a cave

One of the few cowries found in the Mediterranean and is immediately recognisable by its oval shape and its shiny mantle. Brownish with dark blotches on both extremities. Found on rocky and sandy beds with poor illumination and in caves, from 4 - 5 meters down to about 45 meters deep. Maximum size 5 centimetres.
