Goldblotch grouper - Epinephelus costae - in the spotlight
Goldblotch grouper - Epinephelus costae, large, oval body with well developed head and large mouth. Adults brown or greyish brown with distinct yellow blotch on body below the spinous dorsal fin. Found on sand, mud or rocky bottoms from 4 meters to over 160.
