Rome - Temple of Minerva

During the turbulent times comprised between 85 and 95 AD, the area located between the Forum of Ceasar, the Forum of Augustus and the Forum of the Peace underwent several transformations and was finally monumentalized by the construction of a fourth forum by the emperor Domitian (81-96 AD). Domitian was murdered in 96 and the new Forum was inaugurated in the year 97 by his successor Nerva (96-98 AD) who completed the construction and from which the Forum took his name.
