Interior remains of the Roman bath chamber at Xemxija, Malta.
This image shows the interior remains of the structure believed to have been the main bath chamber within the Xemxija Roman Baths near St. Paul’s Bay, Malta. The surviving stone walls and basin-like formation suggest its function as part of the bathing complex dating to the 1st–2nd century AD. The confined layout reflects the architectural planning typical of smaller Roman coastal bath installations, where heated and water-managed spaces were carefully integrated into the natural rock.
