The reconstructed Athenian Treasury along the Sacred Way in Delphi.

This photograph shows the Athenian Treasury at the archaeological site of Delphi in Greece. Built by the city of Athens, the treasury was used to store offerings dedicated to Apollo and to commemorate military victories such as the Battle of Marathon. Located along the Sacred Way, the structure features Doric columns and sculpted friezes that reflect the artistic and political power of ancient Athens. Today, it stands as one of the best-preserved monuments in the sanctuary of Delphi.
