Peacock blenny – Lipophrys pavo

Elongated body with short nose; front profile almost vertical. Adult males have a distinctive nuchal crest. Greenish with dark vertical bends edged with blue. Found on rocky or sandy seaweed-rich bottoms from the surface down to 5-7 meters. Maximum size 13 centimeters.
