The historic Wasserburg peninsula lies on the northern shore of Lake Constance in Bavaria, Germany, and forms one of the most picturesque landmarks along this part of the Bodensee. Once completely surrounded by water, the former island became a peninsula after the separating channel was filled in during the period when the Fugger family controlled Wasserburg.
