The historic Wasserburg peninsula lies on the Bavarian shore of Lake Constance in southern Germany and is one of the most distinctive landmarks of the region. The settlement is dominated by the Catholic Church of St. Georg, whose tower was completed in 1403 and later rebuilt after lightning damage in the 17th century.
