How to Choose the Right License

Choosing the correct license depends on how you plan to use the image. Photo and Crochet offers four different license types, each designed for specific usage situations.

1. No Profit License
Suitable for personal projects, school work, hobby websites, private blogs, and any use where no direct or indirect profit is generated.

2. Editorial License with Credit to the Photographer
Recommended for newspapers, magazines, educational publications, blog articles, and editorial content where the photographer’s name can be clearly credited.

3. Editorial License without Credit to the Photographer
Used for editorial publications where credit cannot be displayed or where the publisher requires image use without visible attribution.

4. Commercial License
Required for business websites, advertising, marketing campaigns, product packaging, commercial brochures, social media promotions, and all other profit-generating activities.

If you are unsure which license applies to your project, we strongly recommend choosing the higher license level or contacting support before purchasing. This helps avoid licensing problems later.
