How to Report Inappropriate Content

Photo and Crochet actively reviews submitted content before it is approved for public display, making the likelihood of inappropriate public content relatively low.

However, no moderation system is perfect, and we appreciate users helping us maintain a safe and professional platform.

If you come across any content that you believe should not be publicly displayed for any reason, please let us know immediately.

What May Be Considered Inappropriate Content

Inappropriate content does not only refer to the image itself.

It may also include user-editable content such as:

  • photo titles
  • captions
  • descriptions
  • metadata text
  • keywords or tags
  • other publicly visible user-generated text

While uploaded images are reviewed before approval, users may later update certain text content.

We also use automated input filtering to detect a wide range of inappropriate words, phrases, and problematic content patterns.

Even with these safeguards, inappropriate content may occasionally slip through.

When to Report Content

Please report content if you believe it may be:

  • offensive or abusive
  • harassing or threatening
  • sexually inappropriate
  • hate-related or discriminatory
  • misleading or fraudulent
  • spam-related
  • otherwise unsuitable for public display

If something does not seem appropriate, we would rather review it than miss it.

How to Report Inappropriate Content

Please use our contact form, following the same general procedure as copyright violation reports:

Content Report Contact Form:

Information to Include in Your Report

To help us act quickly, please provide:

  • a clear subject line such as "Inappropriate Content Report"
  • the relevant Photo and Crochet image ID
  • the direct URL to the content page if available
  • a description of the inappropriate content
  • an explanation of which part is problematic (image, title, caption, description, keywords, tags, etc.)
  • your contact email address if follow-up clarification is required

Finding the Image ID

The easiest way to identify reported content is by using the image ID shown in your browser address bar.

Example:

https://photoandcrochet.com/en/home/photo/photo_id

The final part of the URL identifies the reported image.

What Happens After a Report

Once we receive your report:

  • we will review the reported content immediately
  • content may be temporarily restricted or removed while being reviewed
  • the contributor may be contacted where appropriate
  • violations may result in content removal or account action

Thank You

We greatly appreciate users who help us keep Photo and Crochet safe, respectful, and professional for everyone.
