Festaval Tourist Village occupied a hillside location overlooking one of Malta’s best-known coastal areas. This stepped architectural arrangement was a distinctive feature of the complex, with some lower rooftops forming outdoor terraces for accommodation situated further uphill. Mellieħa Bay, also known as Għadira Bay, is particularly famous for its extensive sandy beach and relatively shallow waters, making it a popular destination for both local residents and visitors. The surrounding landscape combines coastal development, open countryside and Mediterranean vegetation. Although Festaval Tourist Village has long since been abandoned, the views from its surviving buildings remain an indication of the location’s original attraction.
