The successful holiday complex opened its doors some time in 1980 and was operating for about 12 years. In 1993 a application was submitted for refurbishment but was withdrawn shortly after. The compound was neglected ever since and nature is getting back what was once lost to civilization.  Various other applications of restructuring and/or rebuilding the complex have been handed in but up until today (January 2023) nothing has changed.
