Spinous spider - Maja squinado - Just watching
Crab with ovoid carapace, very convex, covered with a large number of spines. Forked rostrum.Very long limbs. Yellowish or reddish brown in colour. Found on rocky, algae-rich sea-beds, from depths of 3 - 5 meters down to 70 meters. Maximum size 18 centimeters.
