The Editorial License without Credit to the Photographer is intended for editorial use where the Licensed Material supports the publication but is not the sole or main subject. This license is suitable for newspapers, magazines, educational publications, blog articles, reports, journals, printed documentation, and similar editorial projects where photographer credit cannot be shown.
This license allows the use of the full-resolution original image without watermark, including in commercial editorial publications, provided that the image is used only within one single project and is not the main object of the publication.
Unlike the Editorial License with Credit, this license does not require visible photographer attribution. It is specifically intended for publishers or editorial situations where credit lines cannot be displayed.
You may use this license for:
• newspapers and magazines
• educational books and editorial publications
• printed journals and documentation
• commercial editorial publications where the image supports the content
• one-time editorial use where no photographer credit can be shown
You may NOT use the image for:
• logos, trademarks, or service marks
• pornographic, defamatory, unlawful, or misleading purposes
• projects where the image itself is the sole or main object for sale or promotion
• repeated use across multiple projects without purchasing a new license
Copyright always remains with the Licensor. Purchasing this license grants usage rights only and does not transfer ownership of the Licensed Material.
This article is a simplified explanation only. The full legally binding agreement is the license text accepted during purchase together with the invoice. Maltese law applies to all license agreements.
