How to Edit Album Title, Caption, Description and Metadata

To edit your album details, start by clicking on the Album tab in the left navigation bar.

The album page will open, where you can create new albums and see a list of all your existing albums.

1. Available album actions
On the far right side of each album row, you will find the Actions menu.

The following options are available:

View Photos – shows all images within the selected album
Edit – opens the edit page for album settings and metadata
Upload – allows you to upload images directly into this album
Delete – removes the album (see conditions below)
View (public) – opens the public view of the album

Important notes:

• The system-generated base album cannot be deleted
• Albums can only be deleted if they are empty
• All images and sub-albums must be moved or removed before deletion
• If an album is set to Private, the public view will show a 404 error

2. Edit album details
Click on Edit to open the album edit page.

You can update the following fields:
• Album Title
• Album Caption
• Album Description
• Meta description
• Keywords

3. Language-specific editing
For each supported language, you will find separate input fields.

Make sure you:
• edit the correct language block
• provide translations where possible
• use English if your language is not supported

4. Metadata behaviour
Please note:

• The album title is also used as the meta title
• Keywords are used in the tag cloud

5. Save your changes
After editing a language block, click the Submit button within that specific language section.

This ensures that your changes are saved correctly for the selected language.

Keeping your album information accurate and well-structured improves search visibility and helps users better understand your content.
