Editing your photo information helps visitors discover your images more easily and improves your visibility across the Photo and Crochet platform.
You can update your photo title, caption, description, meta data, album assignment, and tags at any time from your Dashboard.
There are several ways to access the photo edit page.
If the photo you want to edit appears in the Last Added Photos section on your Dashboard, simply click on the image. The edit page will open immediately.
If the photo is older and no longer shown in your recent uploads:
If you organise your images in albums, this may be the quickest method:
The edit page allows you to manage all information related to your image.
The first field on the edit page is Assign Album.
Click this field to select the album where your photo should be stored.
If you have not created any albums yet, your uploaded photos are automatically stored in your personal user album:
albums/community/yourUserName
After selecting the desired album, click the Save button below the album selector.
You will remain on the same page so you can continue editing other information.
Below the album assignment section you will find buttons for:

Below the release section you will find language-specific editing blocks.
Each language section contains fields for:
Always enter your content in the correct language block.
For example:

Adding translations in multiple languages increases your image visibility and helps more visitors discover your content.
More translations generally mean:
Each language section must be saved individually.
After editing a language block, click the Save button within that specific language section.
Next to the Save button you will find the Manage Tags button.
Tags help connect your image with other similar content across the site.
When you enter meta keywords, the system automatically creates matching tags.
Example:
sunset, beach, malta, sea
The same tags will usually be assigned automatically.
Tags are displayed on album and image pages.
When a visitor clicks a tag, the system shows:
that use the same tag.
Because of this, tags should always be:
The first tag table shows all tags currently assigned to your photo.
From here you can:
Use this carefully, as deleting a shared tag may affect other content.
If you want to add additional tags beyond your meta keywords:
There is no strict keyword length limitation for tags, but they should remain meaningful and relevant.
Tags should improve discoverability, not contain unrelated search terms.
Good titles, descriptions, keywords, and tags improve discoverability.
Best practice:
This helps your images reach more visitors and improves your chances of downloads, licensing, and sales.
